VALPRO warrants to the original purchaser of every new VALPRO unit, the cabinet and all parts thereof, to be free from defects in material or workmanship, under normal and proper use and maintenance service as specified by VALPRO, and upon proper installation (indoor only) and start-up in accordance with the instruction manuals supplied with the product. Regardless of actual installation date, the warranty start date shall be (24) months from original date of purchase or (27) months after shipment date from VALPRO, whichever occurs first. Any part covered under this warranty that is determined by VALPRO to have been defective within two (2) years after shipment date is limited to the repair or replacement, including labor charges, of defective parts or assemblies. Warranty is limited to one (1) year for food truck installations, and vehicle must be brought to service company for repair. VALPRO reserves the right to examine any product claimed to be defective, and deny payment for repair of said product deemed not defective. The labor warranty shall include standard straight time labor charges only and travel charges within 100 miles roundtrip. Any service requested outside of a servicer’s normal working hours will be covered under this warranty at the normal service rate. Warranty does not cover standard wear parts which include door gaskets, and warranty parts ship ground service. Warranty also does not cover issues caused by improper installation or controller settings, abnormal use, damage by third parties, alterations or lack of basic preventative maintenance which includes regular cleaning of condenser coils and filters. Warranty service is limited to the continental United States.
In addition to the two (2) year warranty stated above, Valpro Commercial Refrigeration (Allied Manufacturing, Inc.) warrants its compressor to be free from defects in both material and workmanship under normal and proper use and maintenance service for a period of three (3) additional years or (5) years from the shipment date. The three (3) year extended compressor warranty covers the compressor part only, and does not include any other parts, components and excludes labor charges involved with the replacement of the compressor. This (3) year extended compressor part warranty excludes food truck installations which is limited to (1) year parts and labor. The purchaser will have the sole responsibility and bear all expenses including removing and reinstalling the replacement compressor. This extended compressor warranty shall apply only within the continental United States.
The compressor warranty detailed above will be voided if the following procedure is not adhered to:
1. The system contains different refrigerant other than manufacturers’ original refrigerant and polyolester lubricant. The polyolester lubricant has rapid moisture absorbing qualities. If long exposure to ambient conditions occurs, the lubricant must be removed and replaced with new lubricant. Failure to comply with the recommended lubricant specification will void the compressor warranty.
2. Drier replacement is important and must be changed when a system is opened for servicing. The new drier must also meet the same specifications as the drier being replaced.
3. Micron level vacuums must be achieved to insure low moisture levels in the system.
Aceland Corporation offers free curbside shipping for all items, excluding additional accessorial charges (i.e. limited access, redelivery fee, detention fee, etc), unless additionally specified, to all US states, except Hawaii and Alaska (For shipments going to Hawaii and Alaska, please feel free to reach out to us for a competitive quote). Shipping normally takes 2-8 business days, inapplicable to unexpected special occasions that might delay the shipments. Standard Shipping Notes: *Our shipments are not guaranteed delivery, as we cannot control the carrier service once the order has been shipped. The exception to this is orders are placed and shipped using methods that include a guaranteed delivery date. *If an order is cancelled or refused (unless refused as damaged shipment) after it has been shipped, a 25% restocking fee and the full freight cost will be charged to the customer. *Please inspect all units upon arrival no matter what the outside packaging looks like. If there are too many units to inspect, or you are unsure about the inside condition, or the driver refuses to let you inspect the equipment, you MUST write on the proof of delivery/delivery slip before the driver leaves "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION". Failure to do so will result in the loss of a claim and we will not be able to send replacement parts, issue a discount or replace the equipment. Please see the attached for more freight receipt precautions. Aceland cannot be held liable for those damages not listed in the freight acceptance form!
Items must be returned in NEW (unused, untested, and resalable) condition, in the original manufacturer packaging, with all accessories, kit components, promotional items and instruction manuals included. For your protection, items must be returned shipping prepaid, insured for the full value and safely wrapped to prevent shipping damage. Items that have been used by the customer or items that have been damaged by use cannot be returned to us. We also cannot accept returns on orders where a promotional item has not been returned with the order. These ‘extras’ must be included with your return to qualify for a full refund. When repacking an item for return, please be sure to include all the free and promotional items that came with your order as well as all applicable accessories and literature. Generally, as a “rule-of-thumb" you should return the items to us the same way we sent them to you - in the same condition and with all the original contents. If a promotional item is missing, its value will be added to the original price you paid for the order, thus reducing the amount of the refund, if such is issued. All return requests for the orders with any shipments that are drop shipped from our suppliers, we will need follow the return and refund policies by the suppliers. We do not accept returns on customized orders.
To qualify for a refund, our Return Conditions and Return and Exchange Instructions must be followed. If our steps are not followed, a refund may be issued in accordance with the condition of the returned merchandise and the value of any missing items. Refunds are not issued before the merchandise has been received, evaluated and processed by our Returns Team. Our/Manufacturer’s restocking fee charge(s) may differ, to cover our processing, packing and shipping expenses. Additional fees may apply if the item is not returned in its original packaging. Your satisfaction is always our top priority. We work with our vendor partners to guarantee the quality of our products and we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
